today is the witness where all male MUSLIMS the iptian(ader ke istilah ni) wearing their songkok circumference with 2 inches of white fabric at the centre..while female they r compulsory to wear white scarf.. but those who r non-muslim they are must to intertwine 2 inches of black fabric to their left hand-side..
ALL THOSE THINGS R OFFICIALLY TO BE WORN STARTED FROM LAST FRIDAY TILL THE 7th DAY OF SULTAN JOHOR'S MOURNING..
the purpose of doing so is to show our respect to Almarhum Sulatan Johor who died on Friday, 22nd of January 2010..
